DETAILS

Prevent accidents and falls and make your sidewalk safe with this professional road salt.

Road salt ensures that the freezing point of water is lowered. The salt mixes with the water present to form brine. Because brine has a lower freezing point than water, it will freeze less quickly, resulting in less slipperiness.

In addition, sprinkle salt also has an effect when it is not freezing. By pouring water with road salt over the sidewalk in spring or summer, weeds will be reduced between the stones or tiles!

The road salt from PDB Cleaning Solutions has a fast effect and makes sidewalks and roads passable in no time.

Instructions for use
Winter: Pour in the road salt a dry bucket or container. Always take a handful of salt and spread it evenly over the surface you want to de-ice.

Summer: Take a handful of salt and dissolve it in water. Pour this over the sidewalk that you want to be weed-free.

When to spread in winter
To prevent or eliminate the dangers of slippery conditions, can be spread at different times:

  • Preventive spreading: when the weather forecast becomes bad, preventive spreading can be done to prevent the first slippery conditions. If the temperature does not drop too low and precipitation remains limited, preventive spreading is often enough. By preventively sprinkling the sensitive surfaces, snow and sleet have less chance to adhere to the surface.
  • Curative spreading: spreading from the moment it starts snowing or icing, with the aim of keeping the surface passable or making it passable again as quickly as possible.
  • Repressive spreading: spreading after it has already become slippery. This also has a preventive effect on future precipitation.
